After your treatment

Hyaluronic Acid Dermal filler injection has minimal downtime after your treatment. You can get back to your regular activity right after your treatment with a few percussions in most cases.
For the first day following your treatment, you should avoid makeup, hot shower, and exposure to extreme heat like the direct sun or tanning bed, sauna, heavy activity, and consumption of alcoholic beverages to minimize temporary injection-related reactions.
It is recommended to avoid extreme heat like a hot shower or sauna to maintain your treatment’s best and long-lasting result.
Unless it is instructed by your skincare professional, don’t massage the treated area.
Some post-injection reactions or side effects related to your procedure may occur immediately following treatment or with a delay, such as redness, itching at the treatment site, pain, firmness, swelling, and bumps. These side effects usually resolve on their own in ten days or less. You can apply an ice pack on the treated area for a short time if you experience swelling or mild bruising.
You are advised to contact your skin care professional for a consultation if you experience any side effects.
You may consider discussing the next follow up with your skin care professional to maintain a long-lasting and optimal treatment.
